Keep on keepin' on
There will always be dishes to wash, laundry to clean & fold, floors to vacuum etc. It's just part of life. We need to accept that, and learn to rejoice that there is enough food to make the dishes dirty, clothes to clean and a home to keep up.
(Same principle with work and just about anything else we can think of.)
As in our walk with God. We ALWAYS need Him, so keep praying, keep studying His Word, keep seeking Him, thanking Him, rejoicing in Him and trusting Him....
Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

I Wonder
One day we came home from work to find the bird cage door had been left wide open all day. However, all 4 of our little darlings were sitting contentedly in their cage.
It appears that they only like to come out when we're home. Perhaps they like to be with us, even though they often act illusive and ornery at times.
Do we do that with God....when we know we are safe and secure in His presence? Do we sometimes act ornery and push the boundaries....just to see if He's paying attention?? To see if He'll still Love us?? To see if He'll punish us??
I wonder?
Trust
I often wish I could communicate with our little birds so they would better understand me....as sometimes they seem to be afraid of me.
One day I was praying and asking the Lord how can I "reach" them and help them to understand that I don't want to harm them and they can trust me?
I got the impression He was thinking "Good question!!" (As though He sometimes wonders that about us.)
